Savanah is one of the oldest cities in the state of Georga having been founded in 1733.  It became the colonial capital of this royal colony in 1751.

Today, Savanna vacations are not complete without a tour of the rich history of this city.  The Savana beach is also a popular destination although the true oceanfront is actually further out.

There are more bed and breakfast places in Savanah than you'll find in the average vacationer's town but part of that is the tradition of warm Southern hospitality.  However, Savanna lodging also offers recognized names like Marriott and Holiday Inn.
